Captain Robin
Robin grew up on the oceans and rivers around Cape Town and holds a Yachtmaster Ocean. He and Sophie spent five seasons chartering Croatia, Greece, Montenegro and Italy before following the sunshine across the Atlantic.
This is his third season in the British Virgin Islands, and he knows which anchorages empty out by four in the afternoon.
Chef Sophie
Sophie has sailed since childhood and grew up aboard a 42ft catamaran that took her from Greece to New Zealand. She trained professionally and cooks fresh, colourful, from scratch, leaning on local produce and the flavours of wherever the boat happens to be.
In her words, food that feels special without losing the relaxed, generous spirit of a week on the water.
Working with me
I am Britt, the owner of Just Be Yachting and a licensed yacht broker. I started out as an avid charterer, fell hard enough for this world that we ended up buying a boat of our own, and eventually went and got licensed so I could do this properly. So I have sat on all three sides of it: the guest booking the week, the owner running the boat, and now the broker putting the two together.
Working with me costs you nothing. The charter price is exactly the same whether you book on your own or have me handle it, so there is no reason not to have someone in your corner. I take care of the whole thing: matching you to the right yacht and crew, shaping the itinerary around how your group actually likes to travel, and helping with the travel planning around it so you are not chasing anyone. You show up and enjoy it.

What a week actually costs
Andiamo is priced by headcount, so a smaller group pays less. The rate below covers the boat, both crew, fuel, moorings, all the water toys and the meal plan. Gratuity is separate and is covered underneath. There is a five night minimum.

Rates hold across summer and winter through the 2027 season. Winter 2027/28 is $500 higher. Christmas carries a 10 percent surcharge and New Year 20 percent. Shorter charters are priced from the weekly rate: six nights is the week divided by seven and multiplied by six, five nights is the week divided by six and multiplied by five. Rates are subject to confirmation at time of booking.

An option to consider
The half-board option
As standard, the chef cooks 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches and 5 dinners aboard, and two lunches and two dinners are ashore at your own expense. That split is deliberate, because the beach bars are half the reason to come to the BVI.
If your group would rather eat ashore more often, ask me about the half-board option. You keep breakfast daily plus a simpler local menu aboard, and it takes $150 per person off the charter rate. On a party of eight that is $1,200 back.

One thing to know
A word on gratuity
Crew gratuity is the one cost not in the rate above. In the Caribbean it runs 15 to 20 percent of the charter rate, paid directly to Robin and Sophie at the end of your week, and the amount is always yours to decide based on how the week went. I would rather you see it now than find out at the dock.

A week in the British Virgin Islands
This is the route I keep coming back to. It is a sample, not a schedule. Robin builds your week around the weather and around what your group actually wants, so if you would rather sit in one bay for three days, that is a perfectly good week too.

Welcome aboard
Village Cay Marina, Tortola
You board in the afternoon, settle into your cabin and meet Robin and Sophie over a welcome drink. Nothing is rushed. Sophie serves your first dinner on deck as the light goes.

The Bitter End and Saba Rock
Virgin Gorda, North Sound
A morning sail across to North Sound. Kayaks and paddleboards come out, there is time to wander the shops, and the evening is cocktails and dinner at Saba Rock.

The Baths and Coco Maya
Virgin Gorda
The Baths early, before the day boats arrive. Wade through the shallow pools tucked between the granite boulders, then hike up for the view across the sound. Dinner ashore at CocoMaya.

Norman Island and Willy T's
Norman Island
Snorkelling at The Indians, which is some of the best on the chain. The floating bar at Willy T's if you want it. Sophie cooks aboard tonight.

Anegada and lobster under the stars
Anegada
The flat coral island, completely different from the rest of the BVI. Conch Island, empty beaches, and Anegada lobster served on deck after dark.

Jost Van Dyke and the Soggy Dollar
White Bay, Jost Van Dyke
Swim ashore to the Soggy Dollar, because there is no dock and that is the whole point. Painkillers, a slow afternoon, and the beach shops if you want them.

Farewell sail
Back to Tortola
A last breakfast at anchor and an easy sail back to the marina. Most guests are ashore by mid morning.
